5 more days until regionals. I'll try to take pictures and post them on this thing. But I'm not a big picture taker.
Yesterday I asked my mom "Are we going anywhere tomorrow?" "No," she replied to my surprise. "Oh good. Then I can practice my speeches all day!" It didn't happen. Instead, today was a slack off day for me. Lets see.. what did I get done.. Well I did do the dishes and clothes (as Phil would say, I did the only thing a woman is made to do), I looked at my speeches (didn't exactly practice them), I painted my toe nails (this is my first time to paint my nails this whole year, so they look different. Plus I got the polish all over my toe..), and for two of my meals I ate biscuits and gravy.
Although I did get a little done. Jeremiah and I got all our old colored Easter egg shells out and egg shells from this year that weren't colored yet. Plus we got the coloring stuff and confetti out. Okay, fine. Jerm got it all out. I just wrote notes to him with the magic white crayon, he colored the egg, read the note, asked why I wrote that, said it wasn't true even though it was, and put it on the paper towel to dry. After they dried, he filled them up with confetti and I cracked a couple on his head after yelling at him for trying to crack one on my head. Great teamwork. I tell ya.
Coloring Easter egg shells, filling them up with confetti, and cracking them on each others head used to be a tradition in our family. It kinda stopped when.. well, we grew up. We used to clear off the table (because it always has stuff on it), put a bunch of newspaper down, and would spend all day coloring egg after egg. It took so long that usually we had to wait 'till the next day to fill them up. That was the boring part, but we did it quickly because the fun part was up next. Egg attack! We didn't color any eggs last year and we only did a little bit the year before. I miss being a wittle kid. *sniffles*
We've had a lot more baby wabbits lately. Jeremiah sold all of them at a local feed store as "Easter Bunnies". Except for my baby runt named Kevin. He's adorable and I kept him. But I don't even get what rabbits are good for. I don't think anybody does. They're just good to look at 'cause they're so cute and fluffy. Well people used to make fur coats out of them. That's forbidden now. Although we are allowed to eat them. Rules don't make sense.
I am currently fighting off poison ivy at the moment. A couple nights ago when we were sitting on the couch my mom said "Rub it on Daniel." So I did. All over his knee. "JULIA! What did you do that for!?! You know Daniel gets it! Daniel, go wash it off with Dawn soap right now. Hurry!" Daniel was even on my side. "You're the one who told her to." Aren't we supposed to obey our parents? Like I said, rules don't make sense.
I am actually not hungry right now. Only because I just ate my second dinner. And 15 minutes before that I ate my first dinner. 30 minutes before that I ate the meal preparing myself for dinner. I don't plan on starving during this hour.
Well, if anybody is even reading this, I'm sure you have already noticed that this post is absolutely pointless. But consider yourself warned, I will probably have many like this. Oh! Here's a lesson to be learned: When you have poison ivy, don't rub it on your brother even if your mommy tells you to or else he will have to wash it with Dawn soap and that'll be a total waste. Poor Dawn.
Also, enjoy spending time with your family, eat a lot, and you will live long and prosper.
Maybe.
1: I miss being wittle, too.
ReplyDelete2: Send me a bunny in the mail. Don't forget to cut holes in the top of the package so it can breath.
